I bought this pistol several months ago and can tell you it is of the highest quality. Accurate, reliable, with an outstanding feature set for a serious carry pistol. I love the day-glow green front site as it really draws your eye. It is not cheap but it is well worth the price. Review by Rob (Posted on 10/12/2016)
Worth the price - and a bargain at that after shooting it

IF you can afford this pistol, you'll never regret buying it. I got mine at a SIG Elite Dealer sale, and it has supplanted my H&K P30 as my favorite range gun, though the P30 is still lighter and my preferred carry gun. I'm not ruling the 226 SAO out as my carry gun of the future, though, but have to see how the new holsters feel with it first.

Shooting this? Starting with the sights: the x-ray sights are really easy to see and use with the larger front dot compared to the 2 rear sight dots. In daylight, the front sight really glows, too. The trigger: the cleanest trigger ever on a SIG, and the shortest rest I've ever seen - maybe 1/8th inch? Recoil, not any problem at all, as the pistol's weight and balance, high hand hold with the cutout, and the really well designed grips and checkering all seem to glue this gun in hand and dampen any muzzle flip so that the gun is back on target as the trigger resets, it seems. And then its 'look': This sis one sexy looking gun, in a serious business sort of way. I haven't found a thing I didn't like about this gun, and I've shot it almost every day since I bought it, and I haven't done that with any of the over 90 other guns I own - closest to that was the Tavor. This is a well-made gun!
