Back in May we mentioned that Sig was going to be releasing the P938 and P238 in Legion flavors. Today they started taking dealer orders on both models and they've released product sheets on them.
The features of the two new Legions were pretty predictable. They're very much like the SAS versions but with all the Legion treatment including magazine wells (which neither the P238 or P938 have featured in the past). Continue reading
We just saw this in one of the Facebook Legion pages (https://www.facebook.com/groups/siglegion/?ref=group_header) and thought it was a good time to update our fans on a few new / upcoming Legion related releases. The above photo is being distributed via email to Sig Legion members.
Sig is releasing three new Legion pistols that we know of. We do not have release dates on any of them unfortunately.
The first, pictured above, is the P229 Legion 9mm SAO. We anticipate the part number on this to follow the P226 scheme, E29R-9-LEGION-SAO (15rd version) and 229R-9-LEGION-SAO (10rd version).
We inquired with our Sig rep on the ship dates but nothing is available yet.
In addition to the P229 Legion SAO, we received news last week, while attending a dealer seminar, that Sig is also releasing a P238 and P938 Legion. We don't have photos or any other details but they were referenced in the presentation and we were told that we could publish this scrap of intel since it was being disseminated already. We assume the part numbers will be 238-380-LEGION and 938-9-LEGION.
As more info becomes available we'll post updates here.
Update 5/3/18 12:54 PM:
We've confirmed part numbers reference above are correct. UPC code for the E29R-9-LEGION-SAO is 798681591596 and the 229R-9-LEGION-SAO is 798681591541.
