Sig surprised everyone at SHOT Show this year when, without announcement, it displayed the P938 in .22 LR. Even more surprising, Sig started shipping the P938 .22 LR pistol only a few months after the show. Many newly announced models don't hit dealers' shelves for 6+ months.
We're happy to say that Sig seems to be reducing their new product delivery timeframes! Not only are the new P320's and 938 pistols in .22 starting to ship but they just started shipping the P938 conversion kits too.
The part number for the new kit is CONV-928-22-TGT and it has a 4" barrel. the kit includes one 10rd polymer magazine. There is also a standard length conversion slide but we have not seen any ship as of this post.
Place an order for the P938 conversion kit in our store.

For various reasons, Sig flagged quite a few part numbers as discontinued. Some are discontinued due to lack of demand, overlap from other similar models, and I suspect many are due to the need to thin out the various families.
Many of the models listed were flagged as obsolete early this year but we found the list published in Sig's June price list (only available to dealers). If you've been holding out on buying one of these models, it is probably wise to grab one before they are gone. Continue reading
The Desert Eagle is definitely one of the guns you’ll often see on-screen if you like movies that have guns. Because it looks huge and threatening (even though it’s actually easy to hold for a such a big gun), the Desert Eagle has become the pistol that directors turn to when they want to show their bad guy/good guy is VERY serious about being bad/good.
- The Matrix
- Universal Soldier
- Alien Vs. Predadtor
- The Boondock Saints
- 21 Jump Street
And dozens of other movies, TV shows and video games.
Also, on a personal note, two of my favorite action flicks, Luc Besson’s “La Femme Nikita” and Richard Rodriguez’s “Despardo” also showed off Desert Eagles.
Which got me thinking: Just how common IS the Desert Eagle in action movies?
Remember the “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon” game, where the goal was to connect an actor, any actor, with Kevin Bacon? It went something like this.
“Gene Tierney starred in ‘Where The Sidewalk Ends’ with Eda Reiss Merin who was in ‘Enormous Changes at the Last Minute’ with Kevin Bacon.”
Gene Tierney’s “Bacon Number”, as a result, is 2, as it took only two movies to connect him with Kevin Bacon, and that’s the idea of the game.
Let’s try this with guns: Connect an actor, any actor/actress, with a Desert Eagle in 6 movies or less, and no, starting out with an actor like Hugo Weaving who actually USED a Deagle in a movie does NOT count.
My version (as I’m actually related to this actress), gives me a Desert Eagle Number of 4.
Carol Norton was in “Wanda Nevada” with Geno Silva who was “Scarface” with Mark Margolis who was in “End of Days” with Arnold Schwarzenegger who used a Desert Eagle in “Commando”.
For the record, Kevin Bacon’s Desert Eagle Number is 1: Michael Gross had a Desert Eagle handy when he co-starred with Kevin Bacon in “Tremors”.
Ok, what’s your Desert Eagle Number, or the Deagle Number of your favorite actor/actress?
In this clip from the NRA's new "Life of Duty" series, a panel of current and former law enforcement and security professionals talk about what an armed attack on American soil by multiple terrorists on a "soft" target like a school or a tourist hotel would be like. Watch, and ask yourself, are YOU ready for the worst day of your life?
Some food for thought there.
Primary Weapons Systems recently announced that they were releasing a new line of direct impingement

We just received Sig Sauer's new P938 threaded barrel and added it to our online store.
The barrel should drop right into a standard 9mm P938 slide (note the specificity since there is now a P938 in .22lr).
The thread pitch is 1/2×28 and the thread cap is included. The Sig part number is BBL-938-9-T. See it and order in our store!
