Great gun, but has the striker drag issue

Received my firearm yesterday and fired 3 rounds through it today. It shoots nice and feels great in my hand. My gun has an October 27, 2018 manufacture date. I noticed all three rounds have the striker/primer drag issue that plagues this gun. I'm not sure what the consensus is on this issue at the moment. I've read that Sig thinks is normal and will not cause any wear issues. My FLL said I should send it back. What's your opinion on this Osage?

One other thing to note. A Maglula universal magazine loader does not work with these mags. I'll have to search for another one.

I love my Sig Sauer P-365. It is my favorite CCW carry gun by far in 10 years. You can’t beat Osage County Guns price and selection. This is my second firearm purchase from them. I will be back for more. Review by Michael (Posted on 11/13/2018)

Sums it up really. Osage was one of the first gun dealers to offer the gun at the lowest price.

This is a great, compact and lightweight 9mm. I carry it using a Boraii Eagle pocket holster with ARX ammo. The gun is very easy to shoot and control, especially for a small pistol. Osage shipping was very quick and easy, and the price was excellent for a rather hard to locate pistol. Review by Paul (Posted on 11/12/2018)

It took a long time to finally get one, but it was worth the wait. It shoots like a larger gun, less noticeable recoil than my P-320 carry model. I am more than pleased ,especially with the weight. Shoulder injury limits the amount of lbs. I can hold up. Review by The General (Posted on 10/20/2018)

Is this the Gen 2 P365 version that got the reliability issues fixed?

Referenced product: 365-9-BXR3

Response date: 7-31-18

Our inventory changes constantly but the current inventory was received from Sig roughly six days ago. There is no designation from Sig on generation but the current inventory should reflect the most recent design / revisions.

SEEING ON YOU TUBE ABOUT FIRING PIN DRAG ON SPENT BRASS. AFTER ABOUT 400 RNDS FIRED, HIS TRIGGER FAILED. WHAT DOES SIG SAY ABOUT THIS. THIS IS MY FIRST SIG PRODUCT. A SIG P365.

We suggest reading our blog post with Q&A from Phil Strader. His response:

Q:  What is “primer drag” and does it cause striker breakages?
A:  No.  “Primer drag” is found on fired cases and is simply a drag mark slightly below the indent in the primer.  It is caused by the pistol barrel unlocking while the striker is returning back to its recessed position.  This is not uncommon, and happens in most striker-fired micro compact pistols due to the increased slide speed.  The protrusion of the striker tip during ignition is minimal and has no effect on the striker’s durability.
In the event of a defect, Sig Sauer's warranty would cover this problem.

Do you have any information as to when the Sig P365 with manual safety will be available? Also, is there any plans to manufacture the P365 with a decocking lever?

We have not heard anything official from Sig Sauer regarding a P365 model with manual safety. We have heard rumors about one coming in 2019 but don't believe there is any official messaging from Sig Sauer yet to support that. One account we read from a customer said he asked Sig's customer service and he was told one is coming in 2019.

Regarding a P365 with decocker, I'm not aware of anything on that front either. I'm assuming it would be have to be a DA/SA with a hammer.
