Each 1/2 lb bottle ships unmixed with a matching catalyst packet. Use the included mixing container: pour in the white granules, add the catalyst, and shake until the color is even. Fill the target bottle and cap it. A solid hit from a centerfire rifle bullet of at least 40 grains traveling 2,000 feet per second or faster produces a water-vapor cloud and a loud report. Tannerite places 1/2 lb targets at least 100 yards from the firing line. Mix at the range and use the target as a shot indicator only. Check local laws before purchase or use; some California counties require a permit for binary rifle targets.
