Tannerite ships each 1 lb target as two stable parts. Empty the white granules into the included mixing container, add the premeasured catalyst packet, and shake until the mix is an even color. Pour it back into the target bottle and cap it. Mixed, the target is a shot indicator: a solid hit from a centerfire rifle bullet traveling at least 2,000 feet per second produces a water-vapor cloud and a loud report so you can see and hear the strike downrange. Tannerite directs 1 lb targets at least 100 yards from the firing line. Unmixed, the parts stay inert for storage and transport. Mix at the range and use as a shot indicator only. Check federal, state, and local rules before you buy or shoot. Some California counties require a permit for binary rifle targets.
