Caldwell Youth E-MAX PRO electronic earmuffs are sized for younger shooters and carry a manufacturer-stated 23 dB NRR. The cups are low-profile so a shotgun or rifle cheek weld is less likely to be blocked, and the headband and cushions are padded for longer wear.
Push-button volume, stereo sound, and an illuminated on/off lamp are built in. The muffs shut off after about four hours with no control input. Power is three AAA cells (included); Caldwell’s rechargeable lithium-ion pack is an optional extra. The frame folds for a range bag.
