SIG Sauer 1701477-01-R is the Generation 2 flip-up front sight with the tall post. It is a top-mounted, Picatinny, deployable iron for rifles and SBRs that need a taller front than the standard-post Gen 2 sight.
The sight is black and ambidextrous in operation. Flip it up for a backup iron sight picture over a riser or suppressor-height setup; fold it to stay off an optic. The tall post is the height difference versus the standard Gen 2 front.
This is the front sight only. Pair it with a matching-height Gen 2 rear. Confirm rail slot and height over bore before relying on it as a primary sight.
