Kershaw's CQC-4KXL D2 (6055D2) is the larger Emerson-designed folder with a 3.9-inch D2 drop-point blade. D2 is a high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel chosen here for edge holding and better corrosion resistance than plain high-carbon steels. Finish is stonewashed with satin flats. Blade thickness 0.122 inch.
Open it with the thumb disk or the patented Emerson Wave Shaped Feature as you draw it from a pocket. Manual washer pivot, frame lock, G10 front scale, 410 stainless back with a bead-blasted finish. Reversible tip-up pocket clip. Handle thickness 0.46 inch.
