I bought this when it was on sale for $179 with free shipping. First thought is, "Wow! This thing is heavy [for a polymer frame]! With a full size upper assembly, loaded 21 round mag, and a TLR-1 it is about 3.5 pounds! It definitely mitigates recoil and is worth the money for a very cool accessory (on sale).
