Kershaw Livewire 9000 is the company's out-the-front automatic, designed with Matt Diskin and built in the USA. A sliding button on the handle sends the 3.3-inch spear-point blade out and back. Current production uses CPM MagnaCut (HRC 62–64) with a stonewashed finish; Kershaw notes older Livewires used CPM 20CV.
The handle is textured 6061-T6 aluminum, black anodized, 0.49 inch thick. Closed length is 4.8 inches; overall length is 8.1 inches. Empty weight is approximately 3 ounces. The pocket clip is a black Cerakote deep-carry clip, reversible left or right, tip-down. Blade stock is 0.125 inch. The lock is Kershaw's OTF internal lock.
This listing is Livewire model 9000: black handle, stonewashed spear-point MagnaCut blade. Comply with automatic-knife laws where you live. It is not a tanto or black-blade Livewire.
