Kershaw 1559 is the Decimus, a 3.25-inch assisted folder. Rick Hinderer designed it. The blade is 8Cr13MoV, a single-edge spear point with a bayonet grind and a BlackWash finish.

A flipper opens it on Kershaw assisted action. A matching bump on the spine makes a short crossguard. The handle is stonewashed stainless with textured glass-filled nylon overlays. A frame lock holds the blade. The clip is reversible, tip-up. Closed length is 4.25 inches; overall 7.5 inches. It weighs approximately 4.3 ounces.
