Designed and 3D Printed in house by Osage County Guns. This cutting jig will aid in converting your non-manual safety P365 or P365XL grip for use with the manual safety conversion kit.
This *CAN* be used for cutting the safety notch in a P365X-Macro grip, however the X-Macro grip itself is too wide to fit the standard safety selector without trimming both sides of the grip. This will likely not be an easy task for a novice or someone without proper tools. We have had customers perform this additional modification successfully but it is much more complicated than the standard safety notch cut.
Please note that this jig is made from soft PLA plastic so if you get overly aggressive you can cut into the jig just as easily as the grip itself - it is not indestructible. We recommend taking your time and going slowly. Cut a little bit at a time as it is always possible to take another cut while you can not put a cut back. Best results seem to come from customers using small hand files, but a rotary dremel-style tool is an option as well with a careful hand.

Must have for manual safety install.

This template does work with the Wilson combat module without thinning out the sides for the Macro. Wilson Combat has already done that. I did have to whittle down the template to get it to fit in the grip module, which also made me question exact fitment. However, ultimately I was able to make cuts resembling a factory finish on the grip module with this template. It made the process easier and definitely quicker than it would be without it.
Makes it easy!

Got my jig in yesterday and I had the safety slots cut in my P365 in no time. I thought I would destroy this jig with my Dremel in the process but it's much more durable than it seems. You can definitely use it on multiple grips.
Awesome little jig for the price

For what you pay for this you really can't complain and shouldn't question getting one if you need to add a manual safety to your P365. The only tiny ding I can give it, is mine needed a tiny bit of material removed with a pocket knife so that it would sit level and flush in my grip module and the relief cuts would be even. So a quick fit check , 30 seconds of whittling and then it went right in and gave me a perfect guide to cut my manual safety notches in my frame.
Takes the guess work out

I used a small coping saw , tried the Dremel, but thought it would be too easy to over do it so I used an exacto knife to finish the cuts. Came out perfect.
Great jig

Gotta have jig

I had 6 SIG P365 non-manual safety grip modules to modify for installation of SIG’s manual safeties. This jig and a Drimel tool made the modifications quickly and accurately. Highly recommend using this jig.
OCG P365 MANUAL SAFETY GRIP JIG

The safety jig is awesome, this makes the modification process very easy and its priced right. I used a fine-tooth small coping saw and small but course file. Take small bites and keep the rear Vertical lines straight with the saw, it will show just outside the manual safety.

Works very well as described.

I used the jig to Dremel 2 grip frames and both took the FCU with safety without any additional finishing needed. Works exactly as described.
No go on Macro

I guess I assumed it would be a direct fit in the macro 365 (to be fair description only only notes p365 and p35xl) however the front does not fit under notches and the rear on right hand side needs to be cut in more just prior to the pin. I’m sure it will work 100% with an updated version as the product is simple. Still a great idea in my opinion but did not work for my application.
