This barrel was purchased for my P226 Legion DA/SA. Being that it is an OEM part, I wasn't at all surprised that it was a perfect "drop in" fit. It is the perfect mate for my new Sig SRD9 Suppressor. I am very happy with this purchase.
Drop-in fit, tack-driving accuracy

I installed this in my P226 SAO Elite RX, and found the lockup and function to be perfect with no fitting required. Zero wear visible after the first 300 rounds, so there’s clearly no interference problems at all. The thread protector does loosen a bit while firing, but seems to stabilize in place with the first few rounds, meaning that while it’s a slight boot loose, it doesn’t unscrew any further (probably due to the LH threads working with rather than against the gas vortex exiting the muzzle.). Of course this issue is common to all thread protectors, just a note. I managed 2.5” 5-shot groups, hand-held, at 25 yards off a range bag, with 147-grain Federal HST. That’s as good as I can manage without a proper rest, so the accuracy is certainly at least as good or better than I am. Quality part with zero drama in installation and use.

One value of going with the Original Equipment Manufacture, is reduced necessity of possible gunsmithing. This barrel dropped right in, and very secure with no movement at lock up. Purchased this to complete the stripped RX slide purchased here a few months back. Initially used the old barrel from the pistol, but after consideration, thought a threaded barrel, would be the logical next step. I don't know if I'm yet ready for a suppressor, but when I'm ready, the pistol will be too.
