Hybrid Materials, Placed Deliberately

The XH line puts each material exactly where it earns its keep: a titanium body to keep weight off the muzzle, a 718 Inconel blast baffle at the point of first, most violent gas impingement, and a low-flash stainless steel endcap. All-titanium cans erode at the blast baffle; all-Inconel cans are too heavy. This is the middle path, and it's why a 5.56 can this light is still rated full auto with no barrel length restrictions.

Reduced Backpressure — The Real Feature

B&T's RBS core limits the bolt speed increase to under 2% — B&T's published figure is +/- 1.9% on M4 carbines. That means less gas blowing back into your face, less accelerated wear on the bolt carrier and buffer system, and no need to re-tune the rifle or install an adjustable gas block just because you screwed on a suppressor. On a gun you shoot suppressed most of the time, this is worth more than a decibel or two.

SOCOM Burn-Down Tested

B&T publishes the number: SOCOM burn-down testing of 240 rounds x 95 repeated cycles, equating to more than 22,000 rounds fired during the final testing phase.

Weldless, Printed

Produced by additive manufacturing as a single weldless structure — no welded baffle stack, no seams to crack under the thermal cycling of sustained fire. Finish is Type 2 anodized gray.

Mounting

Ships with a RAID taper mount and muzzle device, and the suppressor is HUB interface compatible at the industry-standard 1.375x24 TPI — so you are not locked into one mounting ecosystem and can move the can between hosts by adding mounts rather than buying another suppressor.

B&T Suppressor Warranty

B&T states: "If your suppressor becomes non-functional or damaged during non-negligent use, we will be replacing your suppressor free of charge." Use of a 0-twist rifled barrel voids the warranty, as do handloads, incorrect-caliber ammunition, bore obstructions, and unauthorized repair attempts.
