Inertia Driven, Built for Gloves
The Inertia Driven action is three primary parts: bolt body, inertia spring, rotating bolt head. No gas piston under the forend. Franchi's current Affinity 3 adds a two-piece shell latch, a larger trigger-guard opening, and an easier-to-find bolt-release button for gloved hands, plus checkering on the grip and forend. Chrome-lined chamber and bore; chrome bolt and bolt handle. The trigger group comes out as one piece for cleaning.
Fit, Recoil Pad, and Sight
- Omni Stock drop and cast adjustability, with a shim kit (five drop-and-cast shims).
- TSA recoil pad — Franchi states it reduces up to 50% of felt recoil. Standard pad gives a 14-3/8-inch length of pull.
