Hornady Custom Lite is the reduced-recoil load for shooters who still want a real hunting .308. This box is .308 Winchester, 125-grain SST (Super Shock Tip), built for less felt recoil and muzzle blast while keeping the flat, hard-hitting SST performance Hornady is known for. Hornady part number 80866, UPC 090255808667. This listing is for the 20-round box of Custom Lite .308 Win 125 gr SST only.

Reduced Recoil Without Giving Up the SST

Hornady builds Custom Lite with a slightly lighter bullet and modified propellant so you get meaningful recoil reduction versus a standard .308 hunting load. The SST polymer tip starts expansion on impact and is intended for medium game in the 50–300 lb class.
