The bottom-insert drop-free magazine is the headline change and the reason to choose a KP50 over a P50. You reload it the way you reload anything else: press the release, the magazine drops, seat a fresh one. No unlatching, no folding the gun open, no putting it on a bench. That single change turns a novelty into a gun you can actually run at speed.

Built on a Machined Lower

The KP50 uses a fully machined lower receiver housing the proven Kel-Tec SU16 trigger group — a known quantity with a 6.5-pound pull. Ergonomics come from a B5 Systems grip, and the charging handle is non-reciprocating, so it stays put while the gun cycles.

Threaded and Rail-Ready

• 9.6" barrel threaded 1/2x28 with a 1:7 twist — suppressor-ready out of the box.

The Jungle Clip

Kel-Tec offers an optional 100-round Jungle Clip — two 50-round magazines joined back-to-back. Run the first fifty, flip the assembly 180 degrees, and you're loaded again. It brings loaded weight to 6.5 pounds, so it's a range and fun item rather than a carry configuration, but it is exactly the sort of thing Kel-Tec builds and nobody else does.

Is the KP50 the same as the P50?

No. The KP50 is a new, distinct model. The P50 loads through a top-hinged receiver that swings open; the KP50 uses a conventional bottom-insert, drop-free magazine. Both are 5.7x28mm 50-rounders, and Kel-Tec still sells the P50 separately.

Does it come with a brace?

This is the baseline Pistol configuration — it ships with a rear Picatinny rail for mounting a brace or accessory, and Kel-Tec designed it for side-folding brace compatibility. Braced and SBR versions are separate configurations that ship with two magazines.

How many magazines are included?

One 50-round magazine.

Does it have sights?
