Is 1/4 inch wider than stock handle on each side, 1/2 inch wider total. helps with grabbing only 1 side of charging handle which is needed if you have a prism scope or LPVO that gets in the way of grabbing both sides of charging handle. if you greatly prefer side chargers, this essentially enables you to use as a rear mounted side charger. I've spent $100 in better places . . . and worse places.

With the extra width of the folding stock hinge on the MCX/Rattler, this larger charging handle should be included from the factory. Just makes charging easier.

After I added a 1-6 SIG scope to my MCX I found the clearance for my hand when charging the rifle to be a bit tight. So when I saw that Osage County Guns had a SIG manufactured large charging handle I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be perfect as it gives more clearance for my hand when charging the rifle and also improves manipulation in the dark. The quality is also great.
