Sig Sauer MCX PDW Grip

Got this to put on a mil spec lower along with the rattler upper kit. The grip did not fit originally because the sig lowers have less material where the grip attaches. A little dremel work on the inside and it fits perfectly. I prefer it over the MOE K grip.

This grip would be perfect if it had a trapdoor it the bottom. To be honest I don’t even store anything in my grips I just hate the look of a hollowed out plastic grip. For some reason the trapdoor makes all the difference.

So I know it’s just a hunk of plastic and it shouldn’t cost this much. But just remember it’s made by Sig. and it’s also the coolest looking hand grip on planet earth. I put this on my MPX to give it the Rattler look and it does that perfectly. Besides being better looking and more compact it fits the hand incredibly well. Far better than any pistol grip I’ve used before.

I've always like the look of these grips from when I first saw one. Of course, they were unobtainium unless you actually got one of the early release Rattlers, or one of the more recent released ones. But once they finally showed up for sale here (and came into stock), I figured for this price it was worth picking one up to see how it works on the MPX...and I'm not disappointed. The grip, though small, has good width/girth and really fills the palm of the hand well. It reminds me of the P365 pistol with the 10-round pinky extension - the butt of the grip sits squarely in front of the "meat" of the thumb part of your palm, but all four fingers have a good place to rest. It is extremely small/thin at the top, allowing your hand to ride very high like a pistol with a beavertail and an undercut. As for value - it's $27 for a hollow hunk of plastic with a funky shape. Similar standard A2 grips (obviously not the same shape) can be found for about 1/4 the price of this. There's probably all of $1 in production cost into making these things...but it's got SIG molded into it, so, you know... ;-)

Its the real Rattler grip and the price cannot be beat. Makes any AR pistol look better. Although not as comfortable as other grips ffor my particular hand (my hands are different than yours so don't let that make your decision) Osage has the best price and only source for this - the grips have sold on Gunbroker for much more
