Vortex Impact 4000 – Ballistic Rail-Mounted Laser Rangefinder (LRF-IMP4000)

Range and Modes
- Reflective: up to 4,000 yards (ELR). Tree: up to 2,500 yards. Deer: up to 1,500 yards. Minimum 5 yards.
- Accuracy: 0.5 yards at 100 yards.
- LOS (line of sight), HCD (angle-compensated), and BAL (range plus wind/drop solution).
- Normal and ELR target modes. ELR takes a bit longer to stretch the max ranges.
Ballistics on the Gun
The Impact 4000 runs an integrated GeoBallistics solver with a full bullet library, ten preloaded cartridge profiles you can customize, and a built-in range-card generator (up to ten saved cards). It pairs over Bluetooth with the GeoBallistics app and can take weather from third-party meters or local stations. A Bluetooth remote is in the box so you can range without shifting your firing grip.
Mount and Zero
It clamps to a Picatinny rail, or to rings that have a diving-board mount. Vortex calls out a quick, reliable zero that holds under recoil. The Precision Matched Diving Board Mount is a separate accessory, not in this box.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it need a phone to give a firing solution?
No. GeoBallistics, sensors, and Wind Bearing Capture run on the unit. Bluetooth to the GeoBallistics app is optional.
What battery does it take?
The rangefinder takes a CR123 (included). The Bluetooth remote takes a CR2032 (included).
Is a diving-board mount included?
A Picatinny mount is how it attaches. Vortex's Precision Matched Diving Board Mount is sold separately. Contact us if you need that mount too.
How far will it range a deer?
Vortex lists deer at up to 1,500 yards, trees 2,500, reflective 4,000 in ELR mode.
