About the P211 Platform

The SIG SAUER P211 Series is SIG's take on the double-stack 1911 — described by SIG as "the final evolution of the double-stack 1911 concept," built on a proprietary chassis intended to eliminate the legacy failure points of the 2011 market. It runs an SAO trigger, a Series 80 firing pin block, and standard SIG P320 magazines. The line spans the GT4 (concealed carry), GT5 (duty/defense), and GTO (competition, with a 4.4" bull barrel and Mach3D compensator), along with GTO variants including Equinox, Combat, Spectre Comp, and Quicksilver.

Installation — No Frame Modification

Per SIG's P211 Operator's Manual: place the funnel screw in the hole at the rear of the magazine funnel, slide the screw in to the left, align the funnel post and screw with the corresponding holes in the grip, and tighten to 25 in-lbf. Removal reverses. No frame modification and no gunsmithing.
