SIG SAUER P365X Sight Plate Cover with Screws

A factory SIG SAUER sight plate cover for the P365X, in black, with mounting screws included. If you've pulled the red dot off your slide — or bought a pistol that came optic-cut and want to run irons — this is the part that fills the cut and returns the slide to a clean, sealed configuration with no gap where the optic used to sit.

Why You Want the Factory Part

An open optic cut collects lint, brass shavings, and grit, and it looks unfinished. The factory cover fits the cut properly and uses SIG's own screws, so there's no play and nothing works loose under recoil. It also matters if you plan to sell the pistol later: a gun with the factory plate in place presents as complete.

Important: This Is a Cover, Not a Sight

A sight plate cover fills the optic cut. It does not carry a rear sight. If you want to replace an optic with a functioning rear sight, you need a sight plate assembly with an attached sight instead — SIG makes one for the P365X with an XRAY3 night sight.
