Central Operating Group
The serialized part of the Echelon is the Central Operating Group — a self-contained fire control housing that sits inside the grip module. That is what makes the platform modular, and in this package it lives in the compact small grip module in Desert FDE polymer.
Variable Interface System Optic Mounting
The billet-machined slide uses Springfield’s Variable Interface System, which lets a wide range of today’s red dots direct mount to the slide. The Gear Pac adds the Viridian RFX11 green dot, so you have a carry optic in the box from day one, and the tritium U-Dot irons are there as backups.
