META is Springfield’s Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly: a flat face, a crisp break, and an integral overtravel stop. That is the Elite-series trigger, and it is why this pistol shoots like a more expensive gun.
OSP Slide and Tactical Rack Sights
OSP is Springfield’s Optical Sight Pistol. The slide is forged steel, Melonite, optics-ready — milled from the factory with a removable cover plate so you can mount a red dot on Springfield’s plates. Irons stay on the gun: fiber optic front and a Tactical Rack U-Dot rear (u-shaped white outline). Slide serrations are the Elite pattern with enlarged grasping grooves.
Magwell, Controls, and 16-Round Magazine
- Extended, removable flared “short” magwell for faster reloads without adding much size.
- Ambidextrous slide stop and ambidextrous magazine release.
