Volquartsen's Competition Bolt for the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 will eliminate those issues so you can spend more time shooting. Plus it’s compatible with the 15-22 rifle as well as the 15-22 pistol.

It is CNC-machined and DLC coated. The bolt comes with their Exact Edge Extractor already installed. Also included is their SureStrike Firing Pin.

The DLC coating means the bolt runs flawlessly with minimal lubrication and maintenance.

Note: You must use your factory bolt carrier, recoil spring, recoil rod, recoil lug, and charging handle. These items are not included.
