Ported Barrel, Subsonic on Purpose

Volquartsen and Angstadt spec an 18.5-inch precision ported barrel in 416R stainless steel, 1:16 twist, with a Bentz chamber — Volquartsen's wording is a match chamber for semi-autos, tighter than a factory sporter chamber. The porting is the point: Volquartsen states it reduces 22 LR to subsonic speeds. The suppressor body is 6061 aluminum with a Cerakote finish, 0.920-inch bull diameter. Sleeve color on this configuration is black.

Straight-Pull Summit Action

This is a straight-pull bolt action, not a semi-auto. Volquartsen puts the TGS trigger group in it at a 1.75 lb pull. The receiver is CNC-machined Type III hard anodized aluminum with a top Picatinny rail. Run the bolt, send the next round; there is no cycling action slapping around while the integral suppressor is doing its job.
