Vortex AMG 1-10x24 FFP – EBR-9 MRAD, 34mm Tube (AMG-11002)

AMG sits at the top of Vortex's riflescope hierarchy — above Razor — and this is currently the only riflescope in the line. A true 1-10x first focal plane with an illuminated EBR-9 MRAD reticle, a 34mm tube, capped Dual Zero turrets, an integrated 120-degree throw lever, and APO index-matched glass, machined from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum. Engineered, machined, and assembled in the USA. Vortex SKU AMG-11002, UPC 843829151597.

1x to 10x, First Focal Plane

A 10x erector ratio in an LPVO means one optic covers a genuinely enormous span: a true 1x for both-eyes-open work inside a room, and 10x for identification and precision at distance. Because the reticle is first focal plane, the EBR-9's holds and ranging subtensions stay correct at every magnification — not just at max like a second focal plane scope.

Dual Zero Turrets

The capped Dual Zero turret system lets you set and switch between two separate zeros — suppressed and unsuppressed, or a long-range and short-range load — with toolless zeroing. Capped turrets keep them from moving in a case or against a sling, which is the right choice on a fighting or duty optic.

Locking Illumination

The lockable illumination dial on the left of the turret housing has eleven intensity levels with off positions between each setting — so you can flick from off to your preferred setting without cycling through the whole range. Powered by a CR2032.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does AMG sit in the Vortex lineup?
At the top. Vortex's riflescope hierarchy runs AMG, then Razor, Golden Eagle, Viper, Strike Eagle, Venom, Diamondback, Crossfire, Triumph. AMG is listed first.

Is it made in the USA?
Yes — Vortex states it is engineered, machined, and assembled in the USA with US and global parts.

What is Dual Zero?
A turret system that lets you set and switch between two zeros — useful for suppressed vs. unsuppressed, or two different loads — with toolless zeroing.

Does it have a throw lever?
Yes, integrated — a 120-degree lever built into the magnification ring.

Does the illumination lock?
Yes. The side dial locks, and there are off positions between each of the eleven intensity settings.
