Vortex builds this on their Class Leading HD Optical System with the APO (Apochromatic) System, optically indexed lenses, and XR Plus coatings — the optical package from their top tier. Then they put it in a 30mm tube machined from a single solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum and got it to 21.7 ounces.
