Vortex Venom 5-25x56 FFP – EBR-7C (MOA) (VEN-52501)

This is a lot of long-range hardware for the money. A 34mm tube, a 56mm objective, 85 MOA of elevation and windage, the RevStop Zero System, exposed turrets, and parallax down to 15 yards — with a throw lever, 3" sunshade, turret tool, and RevStop zero ring in the box. The specs read like a considerably more expensive scope. Vortex SKU VEN-52501, UPC 843829113175.

Travel Is Where This Scope Wins

85 MOA of elevation on a 34mm tube is the number that matters if you plan to dial to distance. Plenty of scopes in this price range put a big objective on a 30mm tube and run out of adjustment before you run out of range. This one doesn't — with a canted rail it has genuine runway past 1,000 yards.

EBR-7C in the First Focal Plane

The EBR-7C is a hash-marked ranging reticle using MOA-based subtension lines for ranging, holdover, and windage corrections. Because it's first focal plane, those subtensions are valid at every magnification — range at 25x, hold at 12x, same numbers.

RevStop Zero System

Vortex's patented RevStop Zero System is a streamlined design that's easy to set and gives a reliable return to zero after turret adjustments. The RevStop Zero Ring ships in the box. Combined with the exposed elevation turret, it's a dial-and-return setup that doesn't require counting revolutions.

Parallax to 15 Yards

The side parallax adjusts from 15 yards to infinity — short enough for rimfire training and close-range practice, which is genuinely useful on a scope you'll otherwise be shooting at distance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the reticle illuminated?
No. If illumination matters to you, look at the Viper PST Gen II, which has an illuminated EBR-7C.

How much elevation do I get?
85 MOA — a lot for this price class, and the main reason to choose this over a 30mm-tube competitor.

MOA or MRAD?
This is MOA. VEN-52502 is the identical scope in MRAD.

What rings do I need?
34mm.
