Vortex Venom 5-25x56 FFP – EBR-7C (MRAD) (VEN-52502)
The MRAD version, and the one to buy if you work in mils. 25 MRAD of elevation and windage on a 34mm tube, 10 MRAD per rotation, an EBR-7C MRAD reticle in the first focal plane, the RevStop Zero System, and parallax down to 15 yards. Throw lever, sunshade, turret tool, and RevStop ring all included. Vortex SKU VEN-52502, UPC 843829113182.
Ten Mils Per Turn
Worth knowing: the MRAD version isn't just the MOA scope relabeled. It gives 10 MRAD per rotation, where the MOA version's 25 MOA works out to about 7.3 MRAD. You reach distance in fewer turns of the dial, and with 25 MRAD total there's genuine runway for long-range work with a canted rail.
Mils All the Way Through
The most reliable way to miss a long shot is a units mismatch. This scope is MRAD reticle over MRAD turrets — what you read in the glass is what you dial. If your rangefinder, ballistic solver, and shooting partner all speak mils, this is the version.
EBR-7C in the First Focal Plane
A hash-marked ranging reticle using MRAD-based subtension lines for ranging, holdover, and windage corrections. In the first focal plane, the subtensions stay true at every magnification.
RevStop Zero System
The patented RevStop Zero System gives an easy-to-set, reliable return to zero after dialing. The RevStop Zero Ring is included, paired with an exposed elevation turret.

MRAD or MOA?
| MRAD (VEN-52502) | MOA (VEN-52501) | |
| Click value | 0.1 MRAD | 1/4 MOA |
| Per rotation | 10 MRAD | 25 MOA (≈7.3 MRAD) |
| Total elevation / windage | 25 MRAD | 85 MOA (≈24.7 MRAD) |
Everything else is identical — same glass, same 35 oz, same field of view, same box contents. Note the MRAD version gives more travel per rotation, so you reach distance in fewer turns. Otherwise, pick whichever unit your other gear already speaks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the reticle illuminated?
No. The Viper PST Gen II has an illuminated EBR-7C if that matters to you.
Why choose MRAD over MOA here?
Beyond unit preference, the MRAD version gives 10 MRAD per rotation versus roughly 7.3 MRAD equivalent on the MOA — fewer turns to get to distance.
What rings do I need?
34mm.
