Mil-Dot, Second Focal Plane
The reticle stays the same size as you zoom. Vortex lays the Mil-Dot out in milliradians and the turrets in MOA. For ranging, holdover, and wind, set the scope to 14x; the center crosshair can be used at any power. Vortex describes this reticle as a ranging tool for long-distance shooters and hunters.
Glass and Tube
XD extra-low-dispersion glass and XR fully multi-coated lenses, with 95 percent light transmission. The tube is a single-piece, 30mm, aircraft-grade aluminum tube with a hard-anodized matte finish. ArmorTek on the exterior lenses. O-ring sealed and argon purged — waterproof and fogproof — and built shockproof. Precision-Force springs in the erector and a Precision-Glide zoom.
Turrets and Parallax
- Tall capped reset turrets: 1/4 MOA per click, 12 MOA per rotation, 65 MOA elevation and windage.
- Caps on; pull the dial to re-index to zero with no tool after you sight in.
